Parish Mission and the year ahead...
We are incredibly grateful to the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest and their Provincial Canon Talarico and Vice Provincial Canon Huberfeld. They conducted a tremendous mission filled with spiritual nourishment at Epiphany of Our Lord in Tampa from November 10th-15th and for that we are incredibly grateful. We urge all of our readers to stay engaged with the Institute by following their podcast, discerning their lay society; the Society of the Sacred Heart, and supporting their retreat center in Wisconsin.
If you missed any or all of the Mission talks you may find them all by visiting the link below:
We also want to share our gratitude to all who have supported our events in 2023 and Fr Edwin Palka for his gracious hospitality at Epiphany of our Lord in Tampa.
Since the founding of the Fraternal Society of St John the Apostle in 2022 we have celebrated Feast Days with Fr. Shannon Collins, Mike Church, Dr. Taylor Marshall, Fr. Richard Cipolla, and most recently Canons Talarico and Huberfeld. We have sponsored Parish Missions conducted by Fr Collins in 2022 and the aforementioned Canons Talarico and Huberfeld in 2023. We have sponsored Pontifical Masses celebrated by Cardinal Raymond Burke in October of 2022 and Bishop Athanasius Schneider in May of 2023. In addition, we organized an opportunity for a Plenary Indulgence at the American Legion Cemetery during the Octave of All Saints and a movie outing to watch the film, Sound of Freedom.
We are only getting started and there are more exciting events and opportunities for “taking up space” in our culture in 2024 but we need your support! The Fraternal Society of St John the Apostle is lay led and lay funded and a 501c3 non profit organization. We hope you will consider becoming a monthly or annual donor or sponsoring our upcoming events in 2024!
Speaking of 2024, we are excited to announce that Dr. Peter Kwasniewski will be joining us for our celebration of Shrovetide in 2024! In addition, we are happy to announce our full season of speakers for 2024! There will be more announcements to follow in the weeks ahead.

We hope to see you in 2024!
